Big Imagination, Tiny Budget: Why We Give Free Stuff at Weebert’s World

Big Imagination, Tiny Budget: Why We Give Free Stuff at Weebert’s World

When I was a young mum, we didn’t have much money.

Andy was serving in the army, and I was home with the children, doing my best to stretch every penny and still create a home full of joy, curiosity and play.

I became very good at making something out of nothing. Old cardboard tubes became rocket ships. Tin foil became space helmets. The garden turned into a jungle, and the bath was a submarine.

Looking back, I realise what I was really doing was giving my children the most precious gift I could:
permission to imagine,  and the time and space to do it.

That’s stayed with me ever since.
And it’s one of the reasons why so much of Weebert’s World is free.

Free? Yes. But Full of Value.

Weebert’s World started on a kitchen table, just like those early days with our children.
And now that it’s growing into stories, characters, animation, and a proper brand, we’re still holding on to that simple truth:

You don’t need a lot of money to give a child a magical experience.
You just need the right invitation.

That’s why we’ve made it a priority to give families and carers something that’s not just free, but full of feeling.

From our free downloadable activity packs to our gentle stop-motion stories and story readings on YouTube, these aren’t afterthoughts. They’re part of the heart of what we’re building.

Because we know what it’s like to be standing in the kitchen thinking, what can I do with the kids today that doesn’t cost anything but still feels special?
And we want to help.

Our Latest Free Gift: Cuddly Bert Colouring Pages

We’ve just added a new freebie to our website:
a set of Cuddly Bert colouring pictures, simple, sweet line drawings of some of our favourite scrap-built robot characters, ready to be brought to life with crayons, felt tips, or (if you’re like me) whatever pen you can find in the bottom of your bag.

You can download them instantly from the Kids Zone page in our website, print them out, and let the colouring begin.

We’d love to see what your children create, or even what you create.
Because imagination doesn’t have an age limit.

Email us your artwork, tag us on socials, or pop it in the post if you prefer the old-school way. Every drawing means something to us, and it reminds us why we started this in the first place.

Be part of Weebert’s World

There’s a little principle we’ve always felt deep down:
people value what they help build.

That’s why we’re not just sending out colouring sheets. We’re inviting children (and their grown-ups) to become part of Weebert’s World.
To help shape it, colour it, fill it with their own creativity.

Because once a child colours in a Bert, or invents their own, they don’t just consume the story. They own a piece of it.

It becomes theirs.

That’s the invisible value.
The magic behind the scrap.
And one of the most powerful things we’ve learnt as parents, grandparents, and now, brand-builders.

From Our Table to Yours

We’re building Weebert’s World to last, a world full of warmth, wonder, and creativity that doesn’t depend on screen time or shopping lists.

It’s a place where scrap becomes story.
Where boredom becomes adventure.
And where your child’s drawing might just end up inspiring the next Bert.

So if you’re looking for something free, gentle, creative, and meaningful,
you’re in the right place.

Download your cuddly Bert colouring sheets, and let us know how you get on.
We can’t wait to see what your little ones, and maybe even you, come up with.

Because you matter.
Your ideas matter.
And your imagination? That matters most of all.
