Weebert’s World started as a little idea in my head—sparked by the wonderful scrap robot sculptures Andy was creating in the garage. I imagined what their world might look like… and I couldn’t stop imagining.
That idea became stories. Those stories became stop-motion animations. And now, it’s slowly becoming a business—with purpose, heart, and a slightly chaotic to-do list.
Lately, I’ve noticed something I didn’t expect ……. confidence. The kind that grows quietly with each small step, each kind word, each “I believe in this.”
This week, I booked my place at the Get Animated event in Birmingham—on my own. No Andy, just me. It’s a big deal for me, and it feels like another milestone in building something that matters.
Meanwhile, Digbert (one of our Bert characters) has been pottering about in our newest stop motion—planting potatoes in the garden, as you do. Because even spuds need their moment to shine. And it reminded me: growth starts with the small, simple things.
Here’s what we’ve built so far: ✨ A growing YouTube channel ✨ Free stories and printable activities on our website ✨ Conversations with educators, families and potential collaborators ✨ And most importantly, belief—in this dream, in its value, and in ourselves
To anyone building something from scratch: I see you. Keep going. The progress might be small, but the belief it builds is huge. And remember now is the time to plant potatoes…. And ideas!
If you’d like to follow along as we grow, please subscribe to our YouTube channel Weebert’s World on YouTube—it’s completely free, and it means the world to us.
