Own the Original: One-of-a-Kind Robot Sculptures Made from Aviation Scrap, Perfect for Engineers & Collectors
Looking for a truly original gift for an engineer? A rare, collectable robot sculpture made from real aviation parts? Or simply a one-of-a-kind piece of upcycled art that tells a story?
Have you ever wished you could own something truly unique … a creation so full of story, personality, and presence that no one else in the world will ever have one like it?
This summer, five unique robot art sculptures, handcrafted by Andy at Weebert’s World are on display and exclusively available to buy at The Black Farmer’s White City store in London.
These aren’t just figures. They’re aviation-inspired artworks, crafted from reclaimed helicopter components, vintage objects, and mechanical oddities, each one bursting with personality, emotion, and imagination. Whether you’re a collector, an engineer, a designer, or someone with a love for all things reimagined, these sculptures are the kind of pieces that spark conversation and stir something deeper.
Each Bert comes with a bespoke owner’s pack, complete with provenance, story, and photographs. And once sold, they are never made again. These are true investment pieces, born from scrap, made for meaning.
🎸 Schubert – The Punk Rock Bot
Looking for a robot sculpture that refuses to conform? Meet Schubert. Built from a helicopter oil bypass valve, binocular eyes, and crowned with a brass wire mohawk, he’s bold, brash, and full of rebellion. With a slung guitar and DIY mic, Schubert is ideal for music lovers, misfits, and anyone who believes in the power of creative noise. A perfect blend of engineering and expression.
🫖 Teabert – The Ambassador of Acceptance
Crafted from a porcelain ham radio resistor, helicopter drive shaft bearings, and a teapot arm, Teabert is a steampunk robot figure symbolising kindness, welcome, and diversity. Her resistor earrings and camera head remind us to see the world with empathy and understanding. Teabert makes a beautiful engineering gift for her, or anyone who finds strength in gentleness.
🔦 Lambert – The Lightbearer Bert
Lambert is not built to dazzle, he’s built to glow. This quiet, contemplative aviation scrap sculpture features opera glass eyes, a wiper motor body, and a vintage light meter on his back. He carries a theatrical lantern and torch (purely symbolic), and a magnetic hammer on his chest. A wonderful gift for artists, engineers, or anyone drawn to poetic upcycled sculpture.
🔔 Dingbert – The Bellringer Bert
Made from a helicopter wiper motor, NiCad battery contact legs, and a red aircraft nav lamp, Dingbert carries a typewriter bell hand and clock hammer. He even has a little teddy bear tucked behind him. Quiet, whimsical, and full of emotional resonance, Dingbert makes an ideal engineering-inspired sculpture for those who believe art should move you.
🎩 Pyebert – The Observer Bert
Built on a vintage theodolite base and named after her Pye electrical meter head, Pyebert exudes intelligence and flair. Her pork pie–style hat is made from a David Brown tractor carburettor float, her earrings from pipe clamps, and her accessories include a spy camera, light meter, and Canon lens circuit board. For anyone looking for a robot sculpture with soul, Pyebert is a standout piece – both industrial and deeply human.
Why These Berts Matter
We’re Andy & Lotty, the team behind Weebert’s World. After a lifetime in aviation and the public sector, we built these robots from scrap to tell new stories, stories of imagination, second chances, and seeing potential in the overlooked. What began at our kitchen table has grown into a stop-motion animation in development, a children’s brand, and now, a curated selection of collectable robot art for adults.
Each Bert is a gift for engineers, collectors, and creators, but also for those who understand that true beauty often hides in the forgotten.
