Christmas doesn’t come with a price limit, but it often feels like it does. Everywhere you look, there are adverts reminding you what your children “need,” what you “should” buy, and how a “proper” Christmas looks. It’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind if you’re not filling a trolley or tapping your card every two minutes.
But let’s be honest, some of the most magical Christmases don’t come from expensive presents. They come from imagination, teamwork, and a little bit of chaos… exactly like our free Christmas gift this year.

Why? Because this year we’re living on our small pensions. We’ve poured everything into building Weebert’s World, and we don’t regret it. But it does mean we understand, personally, what it’s like when Christmas needs to be magical without being expensive.
We’ve had Christmases where we stretched every pound. We’ve had Christmases where we genuinely didn’t know how we’d manage. And funny enough, those are the ones that stick in our memories the most, not the price of anything, but the effort, the creativity, the laughter, and the togetherness.
So instead of pretending Christmas has to cost a fortune, we’re giving something away that doesn’t cost anything, but means something.
A story that does a job money can’t.
The Berts don’t save Christmas by buying anything or by doing everything perfectly. They save it the way most families survive December:
🔧 They use what they already have.
👀 They make mistakes. Lots of them.
🤝 They work together even though they’re all very different.
🎁 They succeed because they care, not because they’re clever.
They fix things for Santa by using scrap, teamwork, and a slightly questionable amount of enthusiasm. In other words: they do it the Weebert’s World way.
And that’s the message we want children to see, especially families who are counting pennies this year:
✨ Magic doesn’t need money.
✨ Imagination is powerful.
✨ You can do a lot with very little.
✨ Teamwork matters more than “perfect.”
We didn’t build Weebert’s World because we had spare cash or free time. We built it because creativity helped us through hard days, and we want children to grow up knowing they don’t need a perfect life to make something special.
If you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, carer, or someone trying to make Christmas meaningful on a small budget this year, we see you. We’re right there with you. And that’s why we want to give you something that can bring joy without adding pressure.
A free story won’t solve everything.
But it might give you ten minutes of wonder, imagination and laughter.
And sometimes, that’s exactly the kind of magic we need.
