I’m not perfect—and I’ve decided I never want to be.
I’m a daughter, wife, mum, grandma. A first-time entrepreneur, a children’s author, and a full-time dreamer. And today, I’m owning every part of that.
I remember being told as a child, “You’ve got too much imagination for your own good.” And for a long time, I believed it. I tucked that wild imagination away, thinking I had to be more practical, more sensible, more like everyone else. I tried to colour inside the lines, to follow the rules, to blend in.
But not anymore.
Now I let my imagination run free—and it’s led me here, to Weebert’s World. A dream I’m chasing with everything I’ve got. A world filled with scrap-art robots, heartfelt stories, and boundless creativity, all designed to help inspire the dreamers and innovators of tomorrow.
For 27 years, I was a military wife – constantly adapting, reinventing, and finding new ways to build a life wherever we landed. That life taught me resilience, creativity, and how to keep moving forward, even when everything around you is changing. It was never easy, but it showed me the strength that comes from starting over—and over—and still showing up as yourself.
Some days, I feel on top of the world. Others, I feel like I’m wading through treacle just trying to keep up. I’m building a business, writing stories, learning about funding, legal structures, data rooms, marketing strategies, and so much more that I never imagined would be part of this journey.
But here’s the thing—I’m doing it. All of it. As myself. Not pretending to be someone I’m not, not trying to fit into a mould. I bring my whole, imperfect self to the table. And that’s enough.
This journey is far from easy. I’m figuring it out as I go, learning every single day. But I’m doing it as me—messy, passionate, slightly chaotic me.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: authenticity is your superpower. There’s no one right way to chase a dream. There’s only your way.
So here I am. Unpolished. Honest. Determined. A little tired, usually over-caffeinated, often scribbling notes on the back of receipts—and absolutely unstoppable.
