Mark 2 Autoberts (Limited Edition – Only 1 Available)
The Mark 2 Autoberts are finely balanced, characterful scrap-built sculptures, each one entirely unique. Built around a vintage Tecalemit grease gun, the heart of each Autobert is a V8 engine formed from scrap helicopter engine bolts. Meccano wheels fitted with vintage tyres, including a spare mounted at the rear, give them a classic, purposeful stance.
A clock cog becomes the steering wheel, while the driver and exhaust are crafted from carefully chosen vintage workshop finds, the sort of parts that sit patiently in a drawer until the right moment arrives. A tiny old bulb serves as the headlight, adding the perfect finishing touch.
Handmade, full of character, and practically impossible to repeat … once this 1 is gone, there will be no more …. Unless of course I find some more Tecalemit grease guns of this size … and they are becoming more and more rare!
Vital statistics:
Length 21cm · Height 10cm · Width 10.5cm · Weight 680g
