From captivating steampunk creations to celebrating the vintage, this unique artwork will bring character and charm to your space. Norbert is a remarkable handmade robot who stands apart from the rest. With a creative and resourceful spirit, he embodies the principles of recycling and repurposing in the most extraordinary way. Norbert’s origins trace back to a small workshop where his creator, an ingenious engineer named Andy, salvaged discarded parts to bring him to life. What truly sets Norbert apart is his head, which is fashioned from a vintage Viewmaster. Peering through its nostalgic lens, Norbert sees the world with a unique perspective. Within the Viewmaster, Norbert’s head holds a collection of beautifully captured pictures of Norway. These images inspire his wanderlust and curiosity about the world beyond the workshop. Equipped with a vintage flash gun, Norbert is always ready for an adventure. Norbert’s vintage charm extends beyond his Viewmaster head. Embracing the nostalgia of an era gone by, Norbert proudly showcases a retro-style radio valve, which adds a touch of timeless elegance to his appearance. This carefully selected detail not only complements his overall aesthetic but also represents his passion for preserving the past while embracing the future. Norbert belongs to the esteemed Bert family, a collective of handmade robots created by Andy and Lotty. Each member of the Bert family possesses a distinct personality and purpose, making them a diverse and fascinating group. Norbert, with his inquisitive nature and love for exploration, represents the adventurous spirit of the Bert family, always seeking new horizons and novel experiences. With his vintage Viewmaster head and a nod to the past through his vintage radio valve, Norbert stands as a testament to creativity, resourcefulness, and a reverence for history. He serves as a reminder that innovation can emerge from unexpected places and that even the simplest of materials can come together to form something truly extraordinary.
