Looking for things to do in the summer holidays? Weebert’s World is packed with free stories, crafts and printable activities to help your child imagine, explore and create, all from the kitchen table. Because summer magic starts with scrap, stories and superpowers.
Summer holidays are almost here, the season of ice lollies melting faster than you can eat them, of soggy garden towels and “I’m bored” before 9am.
If you’re a parent, grandparent, or carer, you might already be wondering how you’ll keep your children entertained, inspired, and maybe off a screen or two.
You’re not alone.
And the good news is: you don’t need to spend a fortune to make this summer one to remember.
Because the most powerful thing your child has?
It isn’t in a toy shop.
It’s their imagination.
And imagination is your superpower too
We’re a couple of grandparents with a dream, and a very wonky robot named Weebert who’s now got a bit of a fan club.
Born from bits of scrap in our garage and brought to life on our kitchen table, Weebert and his friends now feature in stories, animations, and characters that have made children laugh, invent, build, and create in ways we could never have imagined.
And this summer, we want to share that magic with you.
🔹 Free story videos
Gentle, joyful tales read aloud from our kitchen table, perfect for wind-down time, rainy afternoons or long car journeys.
🔹 Free downloadable activity sheets
Packed with prompts to get kids playing, drawing, imagining and storytelling, with just pens, paper and a sense of adventure.
🔹 Free colouring pages
A quiet moment for them, a cuppa for you.
We also have beautiful Weebert stories with colourful pictures available to buy, if that’s something you want to explore. But honestly? You don’t need anything fancy to start. A piece of paper and some crayons is a great start.
If your little ones make a Bert (or a whole family of them!), we’d love to see.
Send us a picture or a short video and we may feature it on our website or YouTube channel.
There’s something incredibly heartwarming about seeing what imagination creates when it’s given permission to play.
And that’s what Weebert’s World is all about.
Giving children permission to play, explore, imagine, and create.
And giving grown-ups permission to do the same.
Not just big day-out, wallet-emptying memories.
But the small ones, the memories that really stick, just like your own childhood memories.
Like a homemade Bert made from kitchen drawer bits.
Like a story told under a blanket in a den.
Like a child who believes that turning scrap into something wonderful is entirely possible.
Because it is.
So if you’re feeling the pressure of the summer holidays creeping in, know this:
You already have everything you need to make it magical.
And we’re right here with you.
