How I’m Building the Best Children’s Brand in the World – and Why I Stopped Holding Back

Some moments hit you like a lightning bolt. You’re going about your day, doing the things on the list, inching forward with the best of intentions and then, BAM! Something lands. And it won’t let you go.
That moment happened for me after watching a YouTube video shared by Ben Price. He said, “Watch this, it’ll move you.” And it did, more than I can explain. It was about commitment. But not in the way most people talk about it. It wasn’t about external declarations or proving something to others. It was about making a deep, personal, internal decision to fully step into who you are.

And as I sat there, something clicked.
I’ve always believed in Weebert’s World. That much is true. It’s been a labour of love from the kitchen table, building stories, creating characters, and dreaming up a world where children are given the freedom to play, explore, imagine and create. Andy builds the robots from scrap, I give them life through stories. We’ve seen children light up when they meet The Berts. We’ve had heartfelt feedback from parents and teachers. We know it works. We’ve had feedback from top Licensing experts and even a Dragon’s Den winner who totally believe that Weebert’s World has amazing commercial potential.
But if I’m being brutally honest? I haven’t always believed in myself as the person to lead it all.
And that’s a hard thing to admit.
Because here’s the truth: if I don’t believe in myself, how can I expect others to believe in my dream? In my passion? In Weebert’s World?
That video, that moment, changed things. It reminded me that belief doesn’t come from outside. It’s not granted by someone else. It’s claimed. Owned. Lived.
So here it is:

🔥 I believe in Weebert’s World — and I believe in myself to lead it.
🔥 I will open doors for children to explore, create, and realise their potential through imagination and play.
🔥 I will show up with passion, purpose and Yorkshire grit.
🔥 I will speak louder, stand taller, and act with the confidence that this brand deserves.
Because Weebert’s World isn’t just a business. It’s a mission.
We’re here to help children unlock their potential, by giving them permission to be silly, to build from scrap, to dream wildly. We’re creating a safe, imaginative world that shows them anything is possible with a bit of curiosity and creativity. Whether it’s through our free downloadable stories, our activity sheets, or our growing YouTube channel, we want children to feel like they can do something …. make something …. be something.
And we’re doing it with purpose. We’re committed to sustainability, to STEM learning in early years, to showing children that from scrap and imagination, magic can grow. And it is growing.
Ben Price, thank you for the nudge. For the reminder. For waking me up.
So this is me, saying it out loud. No more hiding. No more hesitation.
